Class of 1999 20th Reunion Ticket Info!!!


Okay EC class of ‘99 tickets are now on sale for our 20 year reunion!!! Ticket cost are $30 per person which includes the following: Entertainment, 1(one) beverage from the bar, delicious Mexican food and copious amounts of fun!!! Please RSVP through our Facebook Group if you have not already (click HERE). There will be no formal invitation mailed out, so please spread the word to those who are not on social media! To purchase a ticket, please either Venmo: Heather (Burgio) Spencer @Heather-Spencer-29 or PayPal: heatherspencer05@yahoo.com (send via friends/family option) by July 8th, include your name and guest name. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday July 27th, 6:00-10:00 at BNS in Santee!

**DO NOTE** Friends - you can buy tickets at the door, but understand that all the money from the ticket sales are going directly to pay for the food, drinks, music/entertainment, venue rental space, etc. So please, help us out by paying in advance! If you have any questions about this, please let us know.

A Month and Counting...
Wow, time sure does fly by!!! With the reunion a month away, we wanted to remind you of some VERY important details and ask for your help!

First off, some VERY important details to remember...

If you have not yet purchased your tickets, please do so as soon as possible. Ticket prices increase again on 7/8/09!

Biographies are due by 7/9/09, so be sure to visit the Reunion Specialists at http://www.reunion-specialists.com/ to submit some updated information about what you have been up to the past 10 years! If you are unable to attend the reunion, please still visit the website and let us know how you are doing, by submitting a biography.

On Sunday August 9th we will be having a family day at Petco Park. It will be a great, relaxing day to spend more time together with old friends and new family members! We will meet at the park area, look for the EC signs!

We need YOUR help! We are still collecting high school photos for our reunion slideshow, so please mail them as soon as possible to Sharon Sullins, 8817 Ridgeton Court, Lakeside, CA 92040. Please put your name on the back of the photos, so we can return them to you.

If you have any information about any alumni that has passed away, please contact Heather Spencer (Burgio) at heatherspencer05@yahoo.com as soon as possible, as we would like to honor their memory.

Lastly, PLEASE continue to Spread the word!!! Give a few friends a call this week, and ask if they have bought their tickets yet!

Memories!

Hello Everyone!!!

Well it is time to start digging through your closets and garages, because we are collecting high school photos for a slideshow, and memorabilia to have on display! Please take a few minutes to find some of those classic high school pictures that you would be willing to share! Please mail items to: Sharon Sullins 8817 Ridgeton Court, Lakeside, CA 92040. Please be sure to label everything you send, so that it can be returned to you. Or, if you are able to scan and email the photos, you can send them to heatherspencer05@yahoo.com. If you are not able to attend the reunion, but have pictures to share we would greatly appreciate your photos, to help create a wonderful slideshow presentation.

A Location at Last!

Hello Everyone!

We hope you are having a wonderful holiday season thus far!

We have VERY exciting news to share with all of you...we have a location and a date for our 10 year reunion! We will be celebrating at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa on Saturday August 8, 2009! Please start spreading the news to everyone you are in contact with from our Awesome Class of 1999! We want to continue the reunion festivities to include families, and those who may not want to attend the reunion dinner/reception on Saturday night. So, on Sunday August 9th, 2009 we will be going to a Padre game together. Our plan is to have everyone who is interested buy tickets for the grass area and bring a picnic lunch. We can enjoy each other's company, meet our classmates children, and just hang out together again!

You should be receiving a Save the Date card in the mail within the next couple weeks with information (the card may be mailed to your parent's house depending on what address the Reunion Specialists were able to locate for you).

Venue Ideas?

Hello Everyone!

Unfortunately our top choice of venues for our reunion, Hotel Solamar, located downtown San Diego is going to be too expensive. So, we are back to brainstorming locations to hold the reunion. We will be meeting with Reunion Specialists on Saturday September 20th at 9:00am at the Starbucks at Grossmont Center in la Mesa to discuss location ideas, and we would love for you to join us! We know Saturdays are very valuable so we will stay on task, share ideas, and move on with our weekends. If you are unable to make it, but have a venue to suggest please fill free to email your idea to heatherspencer05@yahoo.com or leave a note on our website.

We will keep you posted on any decisions that are made regarding location and date, as soon as we can.

The Planning Stages

Hello Everyone!

It is great to see that people are starting to find our blog and post comments, thank you! Please continue to ask questions, post feedback, and of course share the website with whomever you come in contact with from our class of 1999! The blog will be updated periodically as plans come together so that you can stay informed!

Our committee has decided to partner with a company called Reunion Specialists to help plan our 10 year reunion. After researching multiple companies and the idea of pulling together the reunion on our own, we decided to go with an experienced company for our first reunion, instead of solely relying on ourselves! The company is currently working with the class of 1998, and many other schools in San Diego. The reunion committee still has a say in all the details, but with the help of the company we do not have to front any money for reservations, research current mailing addresses, or send out mailers.

We have taken time to research potential venues in San Diego, and are currently waiting to hear back in regards to ticket prices. Reunions can be expensive, so we are trying hard to find a venue that is perfect for our class and reasonably priced. We are planning on having an evening event for adults only, and an event the following afternoon where we would love to meet your children, if you have them! We are hoping to set a date soon, so that everyone has plenty of time to plan! We are looking at the time frame of mid July-mid August 2009.

Over the next few months we will be brainstorming activities that will be taking place at the reunion, such as a slide show and silent auction. Please keep in mind we will be collecting photos and items to auction off.
